When Joshua was little, he used to copy the notation from full orchestral scores into musical notation software on his computer, just for the fun of it. Since then, he's been honing his skills: writing out music by ear, making new arrangements for specific ensembles, and composing new music. Being able to put a sheet of paper in front of a musician and have them be able to create music immediately is a difficult skill to master, but it is something Joshua takes great pride in being able to accomplish with regularity.
